HP Pavilions with Windows XP do not have recovery CDs, they use a hidden partition on the hard drive to store the
information instead.
Perform a recovery in Windows XP use one of the following two processes: Starting recovery when the computer is booting

I just came across this forum and this post and I know it hasn't been commented on in a while but I hope someone can help. It's not my computer I'm trying to fix, I'm just trying to get information for my friend because she's having problems. She has an HP Pavillion a1130n. She said she is running windows XP and her computer won't start. She tried rebooting and pressing f10. She said when she presses f10 it prompts her for a system disc. She never had to do that before and she doesn't have a disc. You say if you are running windows XP you don't need recovery discs..so how can she go about fixing this?
Thank you SO much if anyone can help Alicia Recommended: Free Performance Scan! - Free System Scan! - Free Driver Scanner! |
